I’m a Venezuelan dude living between Dublin and Madrid. I was raised in Argentina by a Peruvian mother and a Spanish father.
I became a lonely Jedi in my teenage years and those events shaped the person I am today.
My journey into visual effects began by studying to become a post-production coordinator, but minutes after graduating I found myself in a dark edit suite, working as an assistant editor and a VTR operator.
Online editing was my next step. Then, after 6 years, I decided to move into compositing and I got my first job as a roto & paint artist.
For the last 14 years, I've worked mainly as a compositor, looking for creative solutions for each project, but I’ve also been a one-man show: directing, coordinating, leading teams of VFX artists, dealing directly with third party clients and my own clients as well.
I have more than 18 years of experience in advertising, TV and film. I've worked both in-house and freelance.
Yes, I’m a Senior Lead Compositor & Visual Effects Supervisor, but I'm also a traveller, an enthusiast of art and a shy photographer from time to time. A bearded friend. I look a bit fierce and because of that most people don’t get to know me.
That makes me a shy person... a Shy Monkey!
